Tianyuan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences and the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics. Previously, he was a Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. He obtained his PhD in Quantitative Life Sciences from McGill University (2022), where he was supported by a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and a Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé Doctoral Fellowship, and his BSc in Biological Sciences from Fudan University (2018). He was a Senior Research Scientist at 5 Prime Sciences Inc (2022-2023). Outside of work, he enjoys playing piano, biking, and learning languages. Check his CV

Jerome is a PhD student in epidemiology in the Department of Population Health Sciences. He is interested in developing and applying machine learning methods and bioinformatics tools to integrate multi-omics data, aiming to better understand complex diseases and interpret the underlying functional genomics and gene regulatory mechanisms.
